Residential Life

Joint Forces College Jhang is a residential institution and guarantees each of its student’s on-campus housing for the entirety of their educational career.

Around 80 students live on campus in 27 traditional residence rooms. Each of these rooms offers housing a combination of single and double beds. There are also a limited number of standard triple bedrooms. 2 Halls are reserved for students with special needs.

The two apartments are reserved for the parents visiting their son/ward.

The Office of Residential Life has 4 full-time residence officers who live in the residence halls and apartment areas along with the students. We also employ 15 mess staff, 10 security guards, 3 peons who live on the campus residential area and generally serve as a resource for the residents living in their area. In addition to these live-in staff members, the Residential Life office employs other staff as required.

Art & Culture

TV ROOM

Joint Forces College Jhang has a TV room where the cadets can watch the programs on selected channels under the supervision of instructors.

ART & DRAMA

The art gallery is full of showcases student and faculty art as well as works by different people. Joint Forces College Jhang arranges exhibitions of art & fun as a co-curricular activity.

Joint Forces College Jhang has its own dramatic society which produces its plays on different events. The play’s the thing at Cadet College Jhang whether you’re backstage, center stage, or in the audience, you’ll find a show to suit your tastes and talents

Enhancing Classroom Learning

Joint Forces College Jhang has an impressive variety of cocurricular activities, and a great number of them are open to all students. In fact, just about every discipline has an affiliated club that gives you experience and encouragement as you’re working toward your degree.

Community Service

Joint Forces College Jhang has a tradition of community services. Whether it was earthquake of 2005 in northern areas of Pakistan or Keeping different causes in mind including environment, pollution, greenery & human rights, different kinds of walks are arranged outside the campus.

Computing

Computer lab & access to computers are open round the clock when school is in session. Trained faculty is available to answer any computer-related questions students might have. Cadets have access to internet and internet blogging services to maintain their activities at campus

Career Services

Deciding what to do with your life can be a job in itself. With this in mind, Joint Forces College Jhang offers individual career counseling, assessment tools, and a resource library. As Joint Forces College Jhang is being govern by Ex-Armed forces officers, will help the cadets to be a part of Armed- Forces of Pakistan as well as guide its cadets to graduate school options, and teaching you skills for successful networking and interviewing.

Center of Student Leadership

Joint Forces College Jhang aims to create the leadership of future. Student leadership is a vital part of Joint Forces College Jhang. Colleges’ house system is maintained to create opportunities for the cadets to become a good leader.

The college is divided into 4 houses named:

  • Chanab House
  • Bolan House
  • Khyber House
  • Mehran House

Each house is divided into 2 squadrons (333) & (555) each squadron is having 40 to 50 cadets on its roll. Each house is lead by cadets themselves to become healthy leadership of tomorrow. Each house organizes its own study periods, social functions, excursions, meetings, indoor and outdoor games, etc. cadets are under the charge of a Housemaster who is assisted by Deputy Housemaster and a physical Training Master.

Interhouse competitions are held in academics, discipline, games, activities, outdoor sports, athletics, drill, martial arts, debates, current affairs and cleanliness. Separate shields and trophies are awarded to winner of each competition. The College champions’ trophy is awarded to the overall Champion House. These activities go a long way in promoting team work and spirit de corps.

Information Technology Services

Information Technology is need of the modern world. In Joint Forces College Jhang all the offices are equipped with Server-based networked computers. Computerized College Management System covers the Academics, Disciplinary, Examination, Admission, Accounts, and Inventory systems. The college has further ameliorated the examination system by printing out computerized examination papers and results which speaks of the fact that computer technology is being made use of befittingly to fulfill the demands of modern age.

Joint Forces College Jhang has recently introduced the internet blogging service throughout the campus so that the cadets & college will launch their own blog (magazine) on internet, which is most modern interactive tool in this progressing environment.
